"May my soul bloom in love for all existence." ~Rudolf Steiner

Hello, I have been using Barbara's ebooks, and consulting with her for two years now. I just saw this group and would love to get advice on any supplemental books you have purchased for Form Drawing. It is hard to find customer reviews on some, and I have too often found myself purchasing a book that is filled with resources I already have.

Happy to be a part of your group!
Thanks,

Paige

Hi Paige! I am totally in love with form drawing and actually started out with Waldorf Without Walls myself when my oldest was little. My absolute favorites are:

  • Christopherus Form Drawing for Beginners
  • Form Drawing - Niederhauser & Frohlich
  • Creative Form Drawing Books 1, 2 and 3 - Rudolf Kutzli
  • Form Drawing - by Peter Giesen

Hope that helps!

XOXO

Thanks! That's a bit of the problem...I would like all of those books, but only want to purchase one at the moment. Since I have the background from Barbara Dewey, would you recommend the Christopherus book, Workbook 1, or perhaps this: Form Drawing Grades One through Four by by Embry-Stine and Schuberth?http://www.waldorfbooks.com/curriculum-guides/form-drawing-handwriting

I am especially drawn to the price of $11.95! :)

Ah I see:) I would go with the Christopherus personally...I LOVE that book and found it very clear and usable...lots of great illustrations!

Thanks :)
