I am new here and am researching homeschooling options. My child attends a Waldorf school which we both love, but we are not crazy about the area where we live. I'm planning a move to Ojai, CA and am hoping there are other Waldorf families in the area.

Hello everyone! I was inspired to finally write my first blog post to share our Waldorf homeschooling journey with everyone. Hopefully it will inspire and encourage those of you with an autistic or gifted child who may feel a little uncertain or insecure about whether you are "doing it right" or what the "ends results" might be once your children reach adulthood. Hi!  I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself. 

I'm Kristi, and I'm the mom of 6, ages 12, 10, 6, 4, 4 (next week), and 2.  This will be our first year with Waldorf, coming from a Classical/Charlotte Mason background.  These past few years have been years of constant change and chaos.  Although I do love the classical model, Waldorf calls to me every year, and my husband and I have decided that this year, we need to really work on our family's hearts and souls, and Waldorf…
